Exciting news for Eau Claire! 📣We are thrilled to announce that 2023 was a monumental year for Eau Claire County tourism, generating a staggering $459 million in total economic impact! This marks a back-to-back record-breaking year, with $284.5 million in direct visitor spending, a 5.4% increase from 2022, supporting 3,893 jobs and generating $31.4 million in state and local tax revenue. Statewide, Wisconsin welcomed 113 million visits, including a record 45.9 million overnight visits, contributing to Wisconsin tourism’s historic $25 billion economic impact. We couldn't have achieved this without the support of our community, partners, and visitors. Thank you for making Eau Claire a top destination!
